Contact the Clinic

How long will I be at the Clinic?

There is a wide variation in terms of how long each patient must stay at the clinic. Filling in the paperwork in the waiting room on the first visit can easily take half an hour. Every condition is different and takes a different amount of time to diagnose. The assessment part of the visit can take anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour.

Once the assessment is complete and the doctor has a diagnosis, they may proceed with treatment. The treatment process can take anywhere from twenty minutes to half an hour depending on the number of nerve blocks that are required.

Once the treatment is complete, the patient must remain in the recovery room until the doctor declares that it is safe for the patient to leave the clinic. This wait can be as short as twenty minutes. However, if there are complications from the treatment, the patient must wait until the doctor declares they are safe to leave, no matter how long it takes.

In other words please do not book any other activities directly following your appointment.
