Referrals For Medication Management

If you refer a patient to the Rothbart Centre and they are currently taking pain medication, the Rothbart Centre will not take over their prescriptions. The original prescribing doctor will remain in charge of all medication that the patient is currently taking. Some doctors refer patients to our clinic in hopes that the Rothbart Centre will provide medication management. This is a service that we do not provide.

If you have a patient who is addicted to narcotics and requires assistance, please refer them to Addiction Centre Toronto. They are a drug addiction clinic with several locations in Ontario. Their services are covered by OHIP and they accept self-referrals from patents. If you have any additional questions about referrals to Addiction Centre Toronto, please contact them directly.
